School Cleaning Toronto
A school is full of kids touching everything, so the cleaning has to be done right and done with products that are safe for them. Bluestone Janitorial cleans classrooms, gyms, and washrooms for schools and daycares across the east GTA and Durham — Scarborough, Pickering, Ajax, Whitby, and Oshawa. Our crews are background-checked, our programs line up with what the boards expect, and we treat your building like it's where our own kids learn.

What We Keep Clean Across the School
From a Scarborough elementary to a Whitby daycare, the rooms and surfaces we keep healthy day in and day out.
Classrooms & Common Areas
Classrooms, hallways, the gym, and the library cleaned every day so students across Pickering and Ajax learn in a room that's healthy and free of distraction.
High-Touch Disinfection
Desks, chairs, door handles, lockers, and washroom fixtures disinfected properly — the surfaces where a bug spreads fastest through an east-GTA school.
Washrooms & Change Rooms
Student and staff washrooms, locker rooms, and change facilities sanitized on a regular cycle to the standard the boards and health authorities hold Durham schools to.
After-Bell Janitorial
We come in once the building empties so that students and teachers in Oshawa or North York-east walk into fresh classrooms the next morning.
Benefits
Why Businesses Choose Bluestone Janitorial
What gives east-GTA principals and daycare operators peace of mind handing us the keys.
Kids Come First
A school is wall-to-wall little hands. We use child-safe disinfectants and follow Health Canada protocols so the cleaning protects students and staff instead of trading one risk for another.
Lines Up With the Boards
Our programs are built around TDSB, TCDSB, the Durham boards, and independent school standards, so your building stays inspection-ready and on the right side of the rules.
We Work the School Calendar
Before the morning bell, over lunch, or after dismissal — never in the middle of a lesson. Classrooms in Ajax or Scarborough get clean without instruction missing a beat.
Crews You'd Trust Around Children
Our people are background-checked, trained on school-specific protocols, and used to working in a live building full of students — not learning on the job in yours.
Every Level of School
Elementary, secondary, private schools, daycares, and college buildings across the east GTA and Durham — same care whether it's a JK room or a lecture hall.
Licensed, Insured & Bonded
Fully licensed, insured, and bonded for educational work, so administrators in Whitby or Oshawa get the liability protection they need on file.
FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
The things east-GTA administrators and daycare operators check before they sign with us.
What does school cleaning cover?
Classrooms (desks, chairs, floors, boards), hallways and stairwells, washrooms, the gym floor, library, cafeteria, offices, locker areas, window sills, and the trash. We tailor the program to how each Pickering or Scarborough building is laid out and used.
Are the products safe for kids?
Yes. We use Health Canada-approved, non-toxic disinfectants and green-certified cleaning products in every school we clean, and we'll hand your administrators the product data sheets whenever they want them on file.
Do you deep-clean over the breaks?
That's the ideal time. Over summer, the winter break, and PD days we do the heavy deep clean and disinfection your Ajax or Oshawa building can't get while it's full — so it's reset for the first day back.
Can you clean while class is on?
We'll handle light common-area upkeep during the day, but the bulk happens before or after hours so instruction isn't disrupted. We set the timing with your office, not around it.
Where do you cover?
We're an east-GTA and Durham crew first — Scarborough, North York-east, Pickering, Ajax, Whitby, Oshawa, and Bowmanville — and we serve schools across the rest of Toronto and the GTA as well.
