Electrostatic Fogging Services

Fogging & Disinfection Services in Toronto & GTA

A rag and a spray bottle never make it to the undersides, the curved edges or the gaps between equipment — and those are exactly the spots a pathogen sits. Electrostatic fogging puts a charge on the disinfectant so it wraps the whole surface, reached or not. Our fogging and disinfection keeps offices, clinics and schools across the east GTA and Durham Region covered, and we answer the after-hours call ourselves.

Why It Matters

Why Electrostatic Fogging Works Where Wiping Doesn't

01

Reaches the Spots a Rag Never Will

The electrostatic charge pulls disinfectant around undersides of chairs and the backs of equipment — the surfaces a wipe-down quietly skips every time.

02

Roughly Three Times Faster Than Wiping

Fogging covers a whole floor in a fraction of the time hand-disinfecting it would take — which is the difference between reopening tomorrow and reopening next week.

03

The Same Class of Disinfectant Clinics Use

We run Health Canada–approved products rated against COVID-19, influenza, norovirus and more — not watered-down consumer stuff.

04

Something to Show Your Staff

We document the job, so you've got real proof the facility was treated when an Oshawa team or a school parent asks what was done.

Step by Step

Our Fogging & Disinfection Process

01

Facility Assessment

We identify risk zones, sensitive areas, and required preparation steps before treatment begins.

02

Pre-Fogging Prep

Electronics covered, HVAC set to recirculate, and the space staged for safe, effective fogging.

03

Electrostatic Application

Fogging proceeds systematically through the facility — every zone covered, dwell times documented.

04

High-Touch Supplement

Manual wipe-down of critical touch points ensures complete coverage on highest-risk surfaces.

05

Post-Treatment Clearance

Facility cleared for re-entry once dwell time is complete — documentation provided for your records.

Common Questions

Fogging & Disinfection FAQs

Have a question that's not covered here? We're happy to answer — give us a call or send a message.

Ask Us Anything

How is electrostatic fogging different from regular spraying?

Electrostatic fogging charges disinfectant particles so they're attracted to surfaces — including undersides, edges, and irregular shapes that spray doesn't reach. This gives up to 3× better surface coverage compared to manual application and is significantly faster for large areas.

What pathogens does fogging eliminate?

The disinfectants we use are Health Canada–approved and rated for elimination of enveloped viruses (including COVID-19, influenza), non-enveloped viruses (norovirus), bacteria (MRSA, Staph, Salmonella), and fungi (mould, mildew). Efficacy data is available on request.

Is the fogging solution safe for electronics and equipment?

Yes, when applied correctly. We cover sensitive electronics and equipment before fogging and use solutions approved for use in environments with electrical equipment. Our technicians are trained to prepare every type of facility for safe treatment.

How long does the facility need to be vacated?

Typically 30–60 minutes after fogging is complete for the disinfectant to dwell and surfaces to dry. Exact timing depends on the products used and facility size. We provide a re-entry time before we begin.

Do you offer emergency or same-day fogging?

Yes — we offer 24/7 emergency fogging and disinfection response for confirmed illness outbreaks, COVID-19 exposures, or other urgent situations. Call us directly for fastest response.

Do you serve facilities across the GTA?

Yes — Bluestone provides fogging and disinfection services for offices, schools, gyms, medical facilities, restaurants, and more across Toronto, Scarborough, North York, Mississauga, Brampton, Vaughan, Markham, and surrounding municipalities.

Client Voices

GTA Facilities That Trust Bluestone for Disinfection

A confirmed exposure hit our Pickering office on a Friday afternoon. Bluestone had a crew on-site by 7pm — fogged the whole place, documented every bit of it, and our people walked back in Monday without a second thought. You can't put a price on a response like that.

Thomas Lee

Operations Manager · Bayly Street Business Group, Pickering

We have Bluestone fog the clinic every quarter. It's part of how we show patients and staff we take this seriously, and our infection-control lead actually asks for the paperwork they leave behind.

Dr. Amanda Williams

Clinic Owner · Taunton Road Family Dental, Whitby

Norovirus tore through our staff and we called Bluestone the same day. They were out within hours, fogged every room, and had us running normally fast. Owner-operated shows — they cared like it was their own building.
